Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the accounting team, including accountants, credit managers, payroll managers, and tax managers.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Develop and maintain financial controls and systems to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts.
- Manage the company's cash flow, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and optimizing cash utilization.
- Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors to ensure the completion of annual audits and compliance with audit requirements.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA designation is highly preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar managerial role, preferably in a complex organization.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Proficient in financial management software and ERP systems.
